Capers - rather pretty and aromatic plants but they do require dry heat and good sunlight to flourish and need to be kept in the relatively warm temperatures (above -5c).

Melon Cucumber Puglise - fruits are short and medium sized with good productivity. They are best grown in a greenhouse or under cover rather than outside. But would still grow in a container in a warm sunny sheltered spot.

Squash Tromba - delicious and dramatic courgettes, with long curved fruits with a bulbous end.

White Salisfy - late variety that produces long roots with white, tasty flesh on the inside.

Fennel - mid to early variety. It has delicious green feathery leaves and a crunchy large bulb.
