The House Martin are colonial nesters, with an average group size of four to five nests so hang a few of these nests together underneath an overhang in a garage, barn or on a wall of your house.

Making sure there is a gap of 8cm from the top of the nest to the eaves.

House martins will return from their African wintering grounds to the same nesting sites each year, so will reuse their old nests.
